Mojo hold

This is a climbing hold brand that was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido in 2020 with the concept of ``Enchantingly Tempting to Pick Up''

The shapes created by shaper Kohei Umetsu are manufactured in our own factory. It is one of the few hold brands where everything from design to manufacturing is done entirely in Japan.

  • Climbingholds

    MOJO's holds are known for their attractive designs and shapes, based on the concept of "Enchantingly Tempting to Pick Up" Its realistic appearance changes the impression when attached to a wall, giving it a chic finish.

    A slightly complex hold is also an accent. Currently developing the series 「Bumpy」 「Slugs」 「Twoface」and 「Magic Granite」

  • Workshop

    At Mojo Hold, we are holding an experiential workshop for making original hold key chains. Experience shaping (the process of molding using a file or cutter) into your own favorite design. What you make there will become a hold key chain in its original shape.

Kohei Umetsu.

Born in 1992, 12 years of climbing experience

My climbing experience started when I met someone at my university's climbing club when I was 18 years old. Fascinated by this sport, he began his career as a route setter at the age of 21. We have developed a unique style and technique in designing and constructing climbing routes.

In the field of competition, I have the experience of participating in the Bouldering Japan Cup and have experienced the charm of high-level competition.

Throughout my twenties, I visited various rock areas both in Japan and overseas, and became deeply fascinated by the appeal of rock bouldering. These experiences have greatly influenced my style and laid the foundation for creativity and ideas in shape design.
